Meals on Wheels Volunteers Needed
Meals on Wheels has an urgent need for volunteers to deliver meals to homebound seniors in the Angier area. Due to sickness, death, and aging out, their volunteer list has dwindled over the past year. It only takes a couple of hours a month and is a great way for businesses or citizens to give back to their community. For more information on becoming a volunteer, call Peggie Franklin, volunteer coordinator, at 639-4550 or Debby Vaughn, Elderly Nutrition Supervisor, at 814-6072.
